To Whom It May Concern,
The Department of Health recently visited our facility to assist us in getting all of our residents tested for COVID-19 again. We’re proud to say that we still are completely virus-free! We will have their staff come out every 4-6 weeks for additional testing, so we will send out additional updates then. Our staff is required to be tested here on property every two weeks and those continue to confirm staff is virus-free as well. The Department of Health also sent an Infection Control Specialist team to the property to observe our practices in action and make recommendations as to what we could do better, which went very well.
We monitor the data coming from the state every day and we adjust our approach to make sure we’re adapting to the situation at hand. Visitors are still restricted and we expect that to continue for quite some time. In an effort to accommodate families, we’re making additional improvements to our visitor area to make it a more enjoyable experience. We’ll have a mural painted soon by the residents, so be on the lookout for photos of that. The Department of Health reviewed the area and gave it their blessing and praise.
