Do we offer respite care?
The answer is yes, absolutely we do.
Families typically will turn to respite care when they’re either unsure about moving into an assisted living facility or if they’re unsure which assisted living facility or even if they have a planned absence like a vacation.
Families will sign a fixed length contract whether it be for a week or a month or a year and it can be viewed as a trial run with our facility to see if it’s appropriate for them, while leaving the care of the individual with us.
We do find that nine times out of ten, that family and loved one do end up staying with us on a permanent basis. But we encourage here for anybody that may be unsure on whether this is the right move for their family or loved one.
